Responsibilities

• The Perioperative Fellowship  Supervisor is responsible for the orientation, education and continuing education needs of the network-wide Perioperative Fellowship program (formerly referred to as the OR academy) .
• Responsible for the administrative, clinical and human resource management and professional development of the department’s staff.
• Demonstrates competency in the following: leadership, financial/operational performance, entrepreneur/business manager while maintaining and improving services excellence and clinical quality, educational training and facilitation of educational outcomes, competency utilizing current applicable literature and research.
• Cooperative collaboration in roles and responsibility across MH at all levels of staff, managers and administration is consistently demonstrated. 
• Provides oversight of planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Perioperative Fellowship program.  

Qualifications

• Masters  Degree
• 5 years experience in clinical perioperative setting
• 2 years recent experience in clinical education
• Registered Nurse 
• American Heart Association BLS/Basic Life Support
• CNOR certification
