Responsibilities

  • Organize, participate in and implement classroom and clinical instruction. This includes evaluation of students, counseling students, test development and analysis, participation in school and institutional committees and activities, leadership activities and professional development.
  •  Assist with and/or develop course outlines and all materials for attainment of objectives, based on program outcomes and student learning outcomes. Assist with and/or establish objectives for clinical and laboratory learning experiences. Select, facilitate and evaluate clinical learning experiences. Evaluate student progress toward attainment of learning objectives. each assigned formal classes or specific units of the course and/or laboratory class. Maintain professional growth and development pertinent to educational responsibilities. 
  • Work collaboratively with Administration, Lead Teacher, Faculty, Medical Center Staff, affiliating agencies to optimize student learning. Follow School policies and procedures. Participate in faculty organization meetings, committees and school activities. Complete E-learning and Healthstream. Participate in peer review and mentorship program. 3. Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

  • Masters Degree in Nursing or DNP. 
  • Min. 2 yrs active nursing exp. preferably in nursing education.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 

  • Doctorate.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse
