The Marketing Liaison, is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing admissions that align with business objectives for the Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH).. Responsible for identification, development and realization of profitable growth through the marketing and sales of LTACH services/programs. The liaison performs an integral role in identifying, attracting and building new patients/clients accounts, servicing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective patients/clients Specific objectives are to increase awareness, reputation, and preference while driving patient volume to the LTACH. Must be highly analytical focused on market analysis, market development and growth opportunities. Will be responsible for writing and editing marketing communication materials, articles, and promotional pieces; supporting LTACH and system-wide marketing efforts including special events, openings, and market research. Must be able to provide social media messaging and new social/digital strategies in conjunction with the LTACH to generate leads and grow the business while supporting Hackensack Meridian Health's brand identity and strategies. Will work collaboratively with integrated marketing, communication and outreach teams, along with the CEO of LTACH Division

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements marketing strategies aligned with business strategy 
  • Identifies, develops and realizes profitable growth through the marketing and sales of LTACH services/programs 
  • Performs an integral role in identifying, attracting and building new patients/clients accounts, servicing and maintaining relationships with current and prospective patients/clients 
  • Sets specific marketing goals. 
  • Analyzes and forecasts market trends 
  • Researches market to identify new opportunities 
  • Generates innovative ideas to promote our brand and products 
  • Addresses advertising needs 
  • Establishes a strong, long-term web presence 
  • Utilizes excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals 
  • Good leadership, team player and interpersonal skills 
  • Uses customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction 
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned. 
  • Adheres to HMH's LTACH Organizational and Managerial competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience 
  • Strong grammar skills
  • Proven ability to understand patient clinical issues 
  • Excellent communicator: well-spoken with excellent writing skills
  • Independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and a strong desire to consistently advance the goals
  • Strong multiple project management skills with an affinity for consistently producing high-quality work
  • Customer focused with a passion for customer service
  • Experience evaluating and assessing internal and external client/patient needs
  • Experience in maintaining ongoing business dashboards
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals 
  • Good leadership, team player and interpersonal skills 

 

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred 
  • Prior healthcare marketing experience preferably in a hospital setting 
  • Graduate of accredited nursing program preferred 

 

Licenses and Certifications Required: Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License

Compensation
Minimum rate of $90,750.40 Annually

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.

  • Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
  • Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
  • Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.

In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
