The HMH Signature Wellness program aims to unify Executive Health and Concierge Medicine under a single premium umbrella. The Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of Program operations, with a focus on strategic growth, business planning, sales, communications, personnel supervision, and financial management.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Manager, HMH Signature Health at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

 

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Champions the HMH Signature Wellness program, collaborating with Network Leadership to define and achieve its mission, vision, and strategic objectives. 
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan, driving consistent progress towards program goals and expanding its impact, reach, and visibility. 
  • Designs and implements a robust and sustainable business model for integrative care delivery across the Hackensack Meridian healthcare system.
  • Forges innovative partnerships with academic and community organizations to amplify program impact and broaden service offerings.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on emerging opportunities for program growth and development.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Generates and cultivates prospective clients for HMH Signature Wellness programs, achieving revenue targets.
  • Develops and maintains expert-level knowledge of Executive Health and Concierge Medicine services.
  • Collaborates with leadership, stakeholders, and peers to implement effective sales strategies and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Navigates client decision-making processes, overcoming obstacles to secure new business and expand existing client relationships.
  • Partners with Marketing to develop and execute cutting-edge sales and marketing campaigns.

Communications & Outreach:

  • Develops and implements a compelling communications strategy in collaboration with Network Communications and HMH Affiliated Foundations, effectively conveying the program's mission and achievements.
  • Engages the Hackensack Meridian patient community through targeted communication initiatives.
  • Represents the program at internal and external meetings, conferences, and presentations, articulating its value proposition to diverse audiences.
  • Provides regular and transparent updates on program progress to donors, stakeholders, and advisors.
  • Facilitates productive meetings with program leadership, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. 
  • Disseminates research findings, clinical outcomes, and educational materials to promote program visibility and impact.

Operations:

  • Responsible for effective Program personnel management including hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, performance evaluation, mentoring, instilling commitment to quality and excellence, and disciplinary action when appropriate, including termination with supportive documentation as per established policy. 
  • Work with Program leadership and Network finance to prepare Program's annual budget; establish and achieve financial goals; monitor status and projections of all accounts; report regularly financial status to Program leadership; ensure budget compliance; oversight of project budgets and day-to-day accounting functions by tracking and monitoring expenditures and reconciling expenses with accounts.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, consistent Network policies.
  • Provide oversight and support for Program activities in research, clinical services, and education. Assures the necessary administrative mechanisms and support are present to support Program activities.
  • Monitor Program productivity and performance to identify and evaluate program strengths and challenges.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience; two years of sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders
  • Strong networking skills
  • Strategic and system thinking skills
  • Solid independent judgment and self-motivation.
  • Organized and resourceful with the ability to complete tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Ability to identify problems and develop solutions, prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and organize workflow and multi-task in a smart and timely fashion. 
  • 3+ years Leadership experience and personnel management and proven record of motivating a team to achieve targeted results.
  • Project management and evaluation.
  • Financial management, managing and monitoring complex budgets.
  • Computer literacy. Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, web-based applications, and other technologies that can be used to further carry the program's mission.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, communications, or health promotion strongly preferred

Compensation
Starting at $111,924.80 Annually

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.

The starting rate of pay is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of a specific offer. Posted hourly rates may be stated as an annual salary in the offer and posted annual salaries may be stated as an hourly rate in the offer, depending on the level and nature of the job duties and credentials of the candidate. The base compensation determined at the time of the offer may be different than the posted rate of pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to:

  • Labor Market Data: Compensation is benchmarked against market data to ensure competitiveness.
  • Experience: Years of relevant work experience.
  • Education and Certifications: Level of education attained, including specialized certifications, credentials, completed apprenticeship programs or advanced training.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
  • Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
  • Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
  • Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.

In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
