The Information Technology (IT) Lead Service Delivery Strategist is responsible for the optimization of the enterprise integrated analytics suite and the development of colleagues within Data & Analytics and Health Applications across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Informatics, this role serves as a hands-on resource for all of IT, acting as a trusted advisor for reports and reporting strategy. Assists in daily IT report intake, holds regular office hours to grow the enterprise integrated analytics skill set within HMH IT, and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions that address meaningful business and clinical problems.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Information Technology (IT) Lead Service Delivery Strategist at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Support the optimization of the enterprise integrated analytics suite across HMH, including but not limited to Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer, Clarity, and Caboodle.
- Develop and mentor colleagues within Data & Analytics and Health Applications teams to grow enterprise integrated analytics knowledge and capability.
- Serve as an enterprise integrated analytics resource person and advisor for all of IT, guiding report design, build standards, and best practices.
- Assist in daily IT report intake, helping to clarify requirements, triage requests, and route work appropriately across teams.
- Hold regular office hours to grow the enterprise integrated analytics skill set within HMH IT, providing hands-on coaching, troubleshooting, and knowledge-sharing.
- Advise stakeholders on the most appropriate enterprise integrated analytics tool and approach to meet specific reporting needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the process of clarifying reporting requirements and delivery expectations with business and clinical stakeholders.
- Partner with colleagues on deployment of reports and dashboards, including training and change management.
- Maintain relationships with internal or external customers, ensuring reporting solutions deliver regular business value.
- Track report-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) once solutions enter production to measure value and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders.
- Translate user needs into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for report developers.
- Help establish and maintain enterprise integrated analytics development standards and documentation to promote consistency and quality.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related field.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of strong experience in reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence, with significant hands-on experience in enterprise integrated analytics, preferably EPIC's Cogito suite.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise integrated analytics, preferably EPIC Cogito tools including but not limited to Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Clarity, and Caboodle.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or developing analytics and reporting colleagues.
- KPI creation and management experience.
- Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of the healthcare provider ecosystem.
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications.
- Data analytics experience, including SQL and data modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to teach and present complex reporting concepts to varied audiences.
- Ability to think critically, prioritize, and build relationships across teams and levels in the organization.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with the agile work process and report intake workflows.
- A desire to learn and be intellectually curious, with big-picture and detail-oriented thinking.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Background that comprises both healthcare provider knowledge and expert understanding of enterprise integrated analytics, preferably EPIC Cogito reporting and high-quality analytics product delivery.
- Prior experience establishing communities of practice, office hours, or formal training programs within an IT organization.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Enterprise integrated analytics EPIC Cogito certification (e.g., Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Data Model, or Cogito Fundamentals) at hire or must obtain within six (6) months of hire.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- Multiple active enterprise integrated analytics EPIC Cogito certifications (e.g., Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Data Model, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards).
- Additional EPIC application certifications relevant to the HMH clinical or revenue cycle environment.

Compensation
Minimum rate of $133,120 Annually
HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.
The starting rate of pay is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of a specific offer. Posted hourly rates may be stated as an annual salary in the offer and posted annual salaries may be stated as an hourly rate in the offer, depending on the level and nature of the job duties and credentials of the candidate. The base compensation determined at the time of the offer may be different than the posted rate of pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to:
- Labor Market Data: Compensation is benchmarked against market data to ensure competitiveness.
- Experience: Years of relevant work experience.
- Education and Certifications: Level of education attained, including specialized certifications, credentials, completed apprenticeship programs or advanced training.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
- Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
- Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
- Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
