The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Epic Training Coordinator, reports to the DTS Training Director, and is responsible for coordinating the logistical aspects of EPIC steady-state training activities and projects including, registration and room bookings across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Serves as a SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) subject matter expert (SME) to perform troubleshooting, learning content uploads, e-learnings, creating reports/analytics, and general administration support. Requires daily interaction with HMH team members, third-party team members (TM), EPIC security, Access management, EPIC training team members, and all day-to-day tasks in receiving and fulfilling LMS administration tasks and training requests received from HMH TMs.

The ideal candidsate will have experience with SuccessFactors LMS (Learning Management System) and scheduling EPIC trainings in a healthcare environment. This is a hybrid position(50/50) in Edison, NJ. 

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Digital Technology Services (DTS) Epic Training Coordinator at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Responds and escalates training system issues (i.e. LMS, class request, eLearning, access) via appropriate channels.
  • Serves as a project leader for training-led project initiatives.
  • Oversees/monitors the HMH EPIC Education shared mailbox for training requests.
  • Maintains scanned and emailed documentation required for auditing.
  • Collaborates with Training Leadership, Instructional Designers, Credential Trainers and Physician Liaisons to align training logistics with the training strategy.
  • General LMS support (i.e. loading, creating, modifying/removing courses, curriculum, end-user proficiency exams).
  • Assigns training to users and modifies user groups and/or removes training from users.
  • Oversees and manages training room bookings and cancellations at the Edison Training Center.
  • Responsible for steady-state LMS course uploads as well as eLearning testing and uploads.
  • Creates and runs LMS training reports for projects and operational needs.
  • Creates and runs LMS training reports to create the steady-state training schedule.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources (HR) technical and educational teams for uploads and LMS modifications as needed.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Associates degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) to coordinate, schedule, and register end users for Epic training classes in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, project management, time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer service presence.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Google Suite of Applications, particularly Google Sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Bachelor's and/or Masters degree.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors LMS (Learning Management System).
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets.
  • eLearning Course Development experience with Adobe Captivate and Adobe Connect.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience as an Epic credentialed trainer and/or Epic instructional designer.
  • Experience with Learning Management System reporting and analytics.
