The Systems Automation Architect will directly report into our Manager of Development & Solutions System Automation. Works closely with various teams across Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) to support automation development throughout the automation journey. Additionally, to lead a group of business analysts and developers to construct best practice automation design for the Automation CoE clients.

This is a remote position. We are looking for experienced candidates that have worked with UiPath RPA before. 

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Systems Automation Architect at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Understands all the stages of an Automation journey and describes the role of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Solution Architect in each stage.
  • Coordinates with Business and Technology stakeholders to execute project plans for implementations. Gathers requirements and develops automations to solve business issues and champion productivity across the enterprise.
  • Architects, designs, and deploys highly complex RPA solutions derived from business and technical requirements using UiPath.
  • Assesses automation opportunities from a technical perspective and provides solutions.
  • Defines complexity of automation opportunities to assist in scoping out new developments.
  • Guides a team of Business Analysts and Developers through the automation lifecycle.
  • Responsible for review of technical documentation (SDD, MTP) and acts as an escalation point of contact for automation.
  • Continues to lead and train developers and analysts in best practice automation design.
  • Contributes to best practice documentation and standards to further enhance skills and abilities. 
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

 

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics. Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in operations or process consultancy. 
  • Experience using UiPath with end-to-end automation designs and architectural patterns.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-wide business process improvement initiatives.
  • Adept at process assessments and understands implications, opportunities, and challenges of applying RPA to different business domains.
  • Preferable experience in understanding business processes implemented in enterprise and clinical applications (like Oracle, PeopleSoft, Epic etc.). 
  • Experience with agile development and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Exposure to AI and ML technologies.
  • Familiarity with Epic, PeopleSoft, Oracle applications.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

  • UiPath Solution Architect Certification. 
  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD).
