The Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Population Health CIN Operations team. This role is responsible for data organization, including collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of quality, financial, and patient data with attention to detail and accuracy. In addition, this position will collaborate with leadership to monitor performance quality analytics and recommend and implement opportunities for best practices, revenue generation, and cost-saving opportunities.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) Business Analyst at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports. Acquires data from primary and secondary data sources and maintains databases or data systems. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, escalate, track, and monitor project deliverables and due dates, including integration with the DTS team and operating partners and ensuring compliance with payer deadlines.
- Monitors the operating partner platform, including system availability, outage response, and functionality management and delivery.
- Articulates findings and makes recommendations at a detailed level that can be easily understood to translate data into actionable initiatives and reports these findings to leadership.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet time constraints and expectations.
- Assess needs and develop reports for use in analyzing all departmental activity. Collaborate with leadership to demonstrate outcomes.
- Applies logical or scientific thinking principles to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Collaborates with outside consultants and vendors as requested.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Computer Science, Economics, Information Management or other relevant area of study
- Minimum of 4 or more years of experience in clinically integrated networks or directly partnering and supporting payer side or operating partners.
- Proficiency in healthcare claims data, code sets, quality, and utilization metrics.
- Reporting and analytics experience, particularly the interpretation of results, investigation, and identification of root causes and mechanisms to mitigate errors.
- Strong experience with reporting packages such as Tableau, etc.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using Excel, Pivot Tables, Databases, etc.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Compensation
Starting at $82,513.60 Annually
HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.
The starting rate of pay is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of a specific offer. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
