 The Mgr, Clinical Program is responsible for coordination and daily operations of the Riverview Joint and Spine program The manager acts as an clinical resource to staff, physicians, and patients regarding the program. Represents Riverview’s Joint and Spine Center on the hospital leadership team, reporting on relevant data and key metrics. Responsible for developing and managing the budgets for assigned areas, including monitoring and analyzing key financial indicators and performance metrics. This includes modifying business activities as needed in response to changing financial situations. 

Responsibilities

  1. Participates, develops, implements, and evaluates the certification compliance for the program (i.e. TJC, DOH, CMS). Maintains required audit logs for quality control and care standard compliance
  2. Interprets, implements and enforces department and program- specific policies and procedures. Maintains current knowledge of state/government regulatory standards and requirements. Maintains knowledge of standards in guiding all aspects of patient care.
  3. Assists the medical director , Ensures communication among physician, patient, and outside referral sources is accurate and timely.
  4. Functions responsibly as a clinical manager. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams when appropriate and consistently utilizes appropriate teaching methodology based upon the learning needs of the patients and staff. Develops instruction sheets, order sheets and checklists pertaining to protocols.
  5. Develops, implement and maintains policy and procedures department wide. Consistently meets with team members, physicians and management for understanding of protocol and plans follow up.
  6. Communicates in a professional, courteous manner with patients, families, visitors, team members, and physicians to promote high quality care and superior levels of service. Ensures patients are treated promptly and questions and concerns are dealt with in a timely manner.
  7. Tracks, analyzes, and reports on relevant data and metrics as needed and/or requested. Develops, recommends and/or implements actions or process improvements as appropriate.  
  8. Promotes patient satisfaction through demonstrated commitment to providing excellent service by interacting in a friendly, helpful manner. Communicates potential patient satisfaction issues to the office of patient experience and nursing leadership 
  9. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  10. Adheres to HMH’s Organizational and Managerial competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field.
  3. Experience with elective hip and knee/joint/spine Orthopedic population preferred
  4. Minimum of 1 years of leadership experience.
  5. Current valid NJ RN license.
  6. BLS Certification.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and EPIC.

Compensation
Minimum rate of $126,464.00 Annually

The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.

  • Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
  • Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
  • Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.

In addition to our compensation for full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
