The Risk Management Application Analyst is integral to the day-to-day administration of the HMH Event Reporting System known internally as ONELink, serving as a resource interacting with all levels of team members within the organization.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Risk Management Application Analyst at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Maintains the ONElink event reporting system, including but not limited to the contemporary nature of users, site location lists and application configuration settings/options.
- Maintains the confidentiality and integrity of all information encountered during work activities.
- Point of contact for system issues. Conducts basic investigation and troubleshooting of end user issues. Escalates issues as necessary for resolution.
- Serves as a resource interacting with all levels of team members within the organization.
- Provides orientation and education to team members. Develops and maintains instruction and training materials.
- Prepares and analyzes a variety of ONElink reports and trending data. Ad hoc reports as requested.
- Monitors application for compliance and quality of data being entered.
- Identifies opportunities for system enhancements, analyzes the impact of suggested changes and collaborates with key stakeholders prior to implementing significant system modifications.
- Performs on-going software customization, configuration and customization.
- Designs and maintains application screens, forms, fields and hierarchy.
- Develops workflow for file creation and management.
- Coordinates with internal IT resources to apply updates, perform system maintenance, integrate with other systems and maintain optimal state of the ONElink platform as necessary.
- Travel to HMH sites as necessary.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Associates degree in Business, Risk Management, IT, Healthcare or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare.
- Excellent technological, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Broad understanding of healthcare operations.
- Experience working with external vendors.
- Service Oriented.
- Collaborative and Team Focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to various levels within the organization.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Workplace and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Broad understanding of Enterprise Risk Management, Patient Safety, Quality and Patient Experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the software and functionality of RLDatix systems preferred.

Compensation
Minimum rate of $72,072.00 Annually
HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.
The starting rate of pay is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of a specific offer. Posted hourly rates may be stated as an annual salary in the offer and posted annual salaries may be stated as an hourly rate in the offer, depending on the level and nature of the job duties and credentials of the candidate. - Labor Market Data: Compensation is benchmarked against market data to ensure competitiveness.
- Experience: Years of relevant work experience.
- Education and Certifications: Level of education attained, including specialized certifications, credentials, completed apprenticeship programs or advanced training.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
- Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
- Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.
- Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
