The Practice Manager will manage and oversee daily outpatient practice operations. This position will manage administrative and clinical staff, assuring the office runs efficiently, and work to solve problems. The Practice Manager develops processes and procedures that ensure the efficient and cost-effective running of the office and makes recommendations to upper management regarding staffing issues and procedural changes. Manages business functions including, but not limited to, scheduling, registration, billing, collection, patient and team member satisfaction, and purchasing. Manages the purchasing, maintenance, and repair of office supplies and equipment. Supervises clinical and clerical team members and serves as liaison between the practice and administration. Ensures that day-to-day operations align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 4 year Bachelor's degree or 6+ years medical office experience; 3 of which should be in a lead or supervisor capacity
  • 3+ years in a leadership role; 1+ years in a health care environment

 

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

  • Practice Manager certification.
