Under the direction of the Director of Student Affairs and Wellbeing, the Student Compliance Coordinator is responsible for students’ health compliance records tracking, security of these records, the secure distribution of this information to affiliates and the coordination and scheduling of compliance-related workshops and clinics. The individual must have the ability to prioritize while working on multiple projects at a time, work successfully both individually and on team projects, be extremely organized, demonstrate dependability, and have a professional attitude and poise for interacting with students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Business, Sociology, Public Health, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years in the administration of a higher education program for students.
  • An understanding of, ability to demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, cultural, ability, military, religious, sexual orientation, and gender identity backgrounds of medical students, faculty, and staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

 

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

 

  • Master’s degree in Education, Student Counseling, College Student Personnel, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in database management and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in medical education and/or medical residency education.
  • A 2-year post-graduate and 3+ years full-time work experience in academic or career advising.
