Reporting to Chief Medical Officer, is responsible for managing numerous reports, including quality and service performance improvement reports, outcomes and benchmarking data collection, analysis, summaries and presentations for Hackensack Meridian Health. Directs designated areas of responsibility.


Develops cooperative and supportive relationships with Hackensack Meridian Health and community leaders. Actively participates in professional organizations.  Enhances knowledge of best practices in the industry by attending professional conferences, reading industry literature, and participating in webinars.  Maintains awareness of practice management quality issues of importance to the success of Hackensack Meridian.

Demonstrates ability to collect, analyze and evaluate data from the organization and use results to develop and recommend improvement efforts. Is knowledgeable about benchmarking, trending, and root cause analysis.

Provides oversight of the quality and improvement performance for all PCN and MPI practices. Effectively manages the Press Ganey patient satisfaction survey and reporting processes.  A comprehensive quality management process is in place for MHR practices that fosters an environment of quality and accountability.  An organized and comprehensive process is in place to monitor EMR Meaningful Use data and performance is reported to physicians and MHR administration.

Conducts research and fact-finding to develop or edit information for special projects. Accurately evaluates development of assigned projects.  Analyses and fact-finding is accurate and timely and promotes the success of the project or program.  Develops and coordinates action plans to resolve problems or situations and resolves them accurately and timely.  Assists in preparing accurate detailed specifications from which additional programs or projects may be developed.

Ensures that Hackensack Meridian Health Resources provides a work environment that maximizes team member satisfaction.: Effectively addresses team members' work concerns or issues for any team member who reports to the position. Maximizes likelihood of team member satisfaction through recognition programs, continuing education, scholarship support and a forum for communication e.g., team liaison meetings.  Gallup scores are at target or above.

Ensures that providers leaders and team members provide a high level of patient satisfaction to patients.: Works with Associate Executive Director Director of Operations and practice leaders to maximize patient satisfaction as evidenced by Press Ganey performance scores.

Maintains good working relationships and exhibits leadership qualities in daily interactions. Develops the respect of corporate and community leaders for contributions to the success of the organization.

Maintains effective relationships and works closely with other departments. Assists other leaders who require information or support for projects related to quality and patient satisfaction.

Works with Associate Executive Director and Director of Operations to ensure compliance with clinical and operational quality initiatives.   Maximizes opportunities for practice providers to offer high quality care by keeping them abreast of recommendations for evidence-based care.  Utilizes key performance indicators to meet or exceed quality targets.  Implements quality and patient satisfaction processes for new practices.  Introduces, orients and educates new physicians and staff regarding the quality program. 

Creates formal and informal educational opportunities for staff and providers. Conducts periodic training sessions for quality and patient satisfaction.


Current and valid NJ License in area of clinical practice

Bachelor's degree, RN preferred, knowledge of quality measures and regulatory compliance are mandatory

Three (3) or more years of hospital experience in nursing, social work, quality improvement, team member education or other appropriate clinical area is required

Prior leadership experience in patient safety and quality within a hospital setting is required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

Computer literacy is required
