A day in the life of a Volunteers Coordinator at Hackensack Meridian includes supervising the volunteers and coordinates volunteer assignments at JFK Medical Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, orienting, assigning and retaining volunteers. Liaison with all departments anticipating and fulfilling their requests for volunteers. Ensuring volunteer compliance and providing recognition for their time. Provides Information Desk coverage ensuring excellent customer service and accurate information. Overall department responsibilities include statistics, data base maintenance, office management as well as hospital compliance for staff and volunteers. Participate in all hospital initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Minimum 3 years experience working with volunteers. Education and/or Counseling experience required and Business background helpful. Bachelor's Degree required
