Duration of internship: Summer 2020 (10 weeks)

Responsibilities

  • The Clinical Quality Operations & Population Health summer interns will learn the following:
    • Generate, export, and format reports from Clinical Intelligence Tools
    • Validate and analyze payer-based reports under the supervision of the Clinical Informatics Physician
    • Generate high risk patient reports and patient rosters from Million Hearts Registry
  • Assist in clinical quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Current student in the health sciences field
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or data analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, medical terminology, email, and internet
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service, organization, problem solving, time and task management skills
  • Must be a team player, willing and able to work with a variety of colleagues
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel Analytics, SAP Business Intelligence Tools, or Tableau Visualization Tool is a plus but not required
