A day in the life of a Hospice Nurse at Hackensack Meridian includes Hospice professional nurse is a member of the hospice interdisciplinary team. The case manager is responsible for his/her client utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care. The R.N. supports and implements the philosophy, goals, and standards of the JFK Hospice Program.
Work Experience: Two years of supervised clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or oncology nursing unit preferred. Home care experience 1-2 years preferred. Hospice experience 1-2 years preferred.
Education/Specialization: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred Certification the goal
