Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator

The Compliance Coordinator will lead planning, designing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining hospital wide processes to support the pharmacy compliance program. The Compliance Coordinator is a pharmacist with specific training, knowledge, background, and skills who will coordinate and provide oversight of the Pharmacy Department’s regulatory compliance and performance improvement activities. The scope of responsibility will include, but is not limited to, USP 795/797/800, the Joint Commission, licensing, and HIPAA. The Coordinator will be recognized as the pharmacy related regulatory compliance subject matter expert. He/she will report to the Director of Pharmacy.
• Valid New Jersey Pharmacist License
• A minimum of 5 years of institutional experience
• Extensive knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with staff development and performance improvement
• Extensive knowledge of staff development processes, including planning, designing and implementing orientation and staff development programs
Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy
