The Early Career Talent Acquisiton Partner will assist with recruiting, screening, and interviewing current or recently graduated college/university students to fill organizational roles, as well as organize and attend recruitment events at Hackensack Meridian Health facilities and off-site locations, such as colleges and universities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for internship and early-career positions.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of internship programs throughout the network.
- Collaborate with Talent Selection team focusing on effective recruitment strategies for early-career positions within Hospitality, Corporate, Allied Health, and Nursing fields, including: Creating and sending email blasts to promote open positions to vocational/technical schools, as well as New Jersey County workforce development teams
- Partner with Talent Intelligence recruitment team, as well as career services, faculty/staff, and student groups at targeted schools and universities to meet the hiring needs of various early-career positions.
- Register and attend career fairs and campus events (both in person and virtual) based on application and hiring data.
- Assist in planning for all campus university and intern events, and ensuring that events are effectively communicated to interns and other areas of business.
- Build relationships with internship program participants to ensure positive experiences.
- Track university and intern recruiting data.
- Serve as the point of contact for interns throughout their internship experience and beyond.
- Collect feedback from hiring teams and new hires for process improvements.
- Assist in the maintenance and content creation for the University/Academic Relations website.
- Contribute to social media efforts in order to develop a candidate pipeline, including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Assist in the creation and management of various workforce development/talent pipeline projects.
- Coordinate and maintain promotional materials for events, such as career fairs and information sessions.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant area of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment and/or higher education, particularly in admissions/recruitment for healthcare-related programs.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, such as iCIMS.
- Strong proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms, including Zoom and Google Meet.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and executing events, both virtual and in-person.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time for business purposes (50% during peak recruiting times), both in and out of state.
- Project management skills; ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects with set deadlines.
- Well-organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with various audiences, including students, faculty, and network executives
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:
- Previous knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Current and valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
