Reporting Analyst, Occupational Health
Overview

The Reporting Analyst, Team Health will closely collaborate with our Team Members, stakeholders, vendors, data producers, DTS technology teams, data and systems in order to design, develop and execute data solutions to meet the analytic, reporting and ETL needs of the Team Health Division. This role will be a member of a 7-person data team and its primary SQL developer.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Reporting Analyst, OH at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Write, execute, debug and optimize SQL queries
- Develop, execute, modify and distribute reports, including automated distribution
- Assess and analyze data
- Develop, execute and modify Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes, including those involving large datasets
- Standardize output by building automated solutions to improve the customer experience
- Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools
- Provide special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity
- Identifies issues and recommends changes, corrections and improvements
- Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making
- Ensures accuracy of data through validation, spot checks and collaboration with team members
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- BS in a technical discipline or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in writing, debugging and optimizing SQL queries, including stored procedures, on at least one major RDBMS (such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.)
- Strong competence and comfort with spreadsheets, including Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Expertise in data storage and movement, including relational and big data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient at prioritizing work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to work cooperatively and independently as required
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to build positive relationships across teams
- Ability to function in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Bachelors degree technical discipline
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL
- Experience with Looker
- Strong Google Sheets skills, including Apps Script, Macros and Pivot Tables
- Experience with Google Clouds suite of data tools, including Big Query and GCS.
